The Stübben Phantom saddle was designed by equestrian saddle maker Oda Krumey in collaboration with Stübben eventing team riders Pia and Ben Leuwer, as well as American eventing legend Boyd Martin. The Stübben Phantom is thus the legitimate successor to the first monoflap saddle, the Zaria Optimum, which was repeatedly awarded Saddle of the Year by readers of the Chronicle Horse Magazine from the renowned Lower Rhine cult saddlery.
The flat-girthing tree allows the rider enough freedom of movement even in the most challeging cross-country tests, to sit balanced and securely in the saddle. The seat is designed to provide a direct connection to the horse, ensuring completely uninterrupted communication between horse and rider. The pipeless seat, an additional pad under the small saddle flap, and the infinitely adjustable knee closure allow continuous contact for the rider’s leg. The flat wool pad has a large contact surface and can be adjusted to various horse backs through numerous cutting options.
For the first time, the innovative W-girthing system is used in the Phantom. The pressure is continuously distributed on both points, allowing for perfect positioning and distribution of pressure from the girth. The W-girthing system works with every movement of the horse and meets the demands of even the most demanding horse-rider pairs with its powerful dynamics.
The sporty, straight-forward, and innovative design of the Phantom ensures speed and the freedom to explore any terrain.
